About Us

Garo Hills Adventist Mission Hospital

The Garo Hills Adventist Mission Hospital was established in May 2018 and operated by the Garo Section of Seventh Day Adventists. In May 2018, Dr. Denyl Joshua and Dr. Dorothy Joshua accepted the mission call to come and serve in Garo Hills.

Since its opening, the hospital team has provided medical treatment to thousands of tribal people. People come from far and wide to receive treatment. In July 2019, seeing the dire needs for maternity care, Dr. Suzie Francis, Gynaecologist and Dr. Paul Francis, Paediatrician joined the team to strengthen the mother and childcare of the hospital. The team has been expanding ever since.

The hospital includes services such as Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics and New-born care, General Medicine, 24-hour emergency, Dental Care, Ultra sonography, and an Operation Theatre.

The Garo Hills Adventist Mission Hospital is committed to being an instrument for transformation of healthcare by providing promotive, preventative, curative, and rehabilitative health services in a Christ centred medical missionary environment
